Dear Colleagues,

Once again, it is a pleasure to cordially invite you to participate in the XVIIth International Coccidology Symposium (ICS), to be held in Ankara, Türkiye between June, 2027.

The meeting will be organized by Ankara University, Faculty of Agriculture, Plant Protection Department, Dışkapı, Ankara, Türkiye The symposium will cover all aspects of scale insect studies, including systematics and morphology, genetics and evolution, zoogeography and fauna, biology and population dynamics, natural enemies, monitoring, and pest management. ICS-XVII is also intended as an opportunity to bring together people working on scale insects worldwide and to discuss the most recent research achievements in scale insect studies.

Further information about accommodation, registration and registration fees, instructions for the preparation of abstracts and a final manuscript, a preliminary program for the meeting and excursions, will be available soon.
